We are thrilled to join in the excitement of women's professional soccer coming to Denver! VISIT DENVER Board Member Rob Cohen, along with an incredible ownership group, has secured Denver as the home of the 16th franchise in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL)! This is a monumental step for our city and for women’s professional sports.
With plans for a purpose-built stadium and performance facility, the NWSL team will elevate the Denver’s sports culture we all hold so dearly even further and inspire future generations of athletes and fans. The addition of the NWSL team is a tremendous boost for our city, showcasing Denver as a hub for world-class sports and further cementing our reputation as one of the premier sports destinations in the country, attracting fans from across the region. We look forward to the positive impact it will have on our tourism, community engagement and local economy.
VISIT DENVER has always been proud to support efforts that help showcase Denver’s vibrant sports scene, and this monumental development is no exception. As we continue to work together to promote Denver as a world-class destination, let’s celebrate Rob in this historic moment for our city.
We expect more details will follow over the next few months as the Denver NWSL Team is set to play in the 2026 season.
Once again, congratulations to Rob Cohen and the entire ownership group for bringing women’s professional soccer to Denver!
Ole Ole Ole, Denver!
